Rewrite and write copy with AI

Rewrite with AI drafts and rewrites text without leaving the Besigner. It works on any text an element carries — a headline, body copy, a button label, a caption — and on a blog entry.

Rolling out

Writing copy with AI is part of Aglyn AI, a release-flagged feature currently being rolled out — it is not available in every workspace yet. This page says what it does, and grows with the feature.

Use it​

  1. Select a text-capable element on the canvas.
  2. Open the element's fields in the Attributes panel and choose Rewrite with AI, under the text you want changed.
  3. Describe the change, or leave it empty to have the text rewritten as it stands.
  4. Read what comes back, then apply it.

What you apply is an unsaved change on the version you have open, exactly like typing the words yourself. One undo takes it back, and nothing reaches your live site until you publish. On the version your live site shows, the Besigner asks you to make a new version first.

What you get back​

  • Your voice, not a house style. The rewrite follows the tone of the copy already on the page and the brief you gave.
  • Finished sentences. No lorem ipsum, and no heading or paragraph cut off partway.
  • Square brackets rather than invention. Where your brief leaves out a fact — a phone number, an address, a price — the copy marks the gap in square brackets instead of making one up. Fill those in before you publish.

Tips​

  • Say who it is for and what it should do. "Shorter, for a tradesperson in a hurry, ending in a call to book" beats "make it better".
  • Treat what comes back as a first draft and edit it inline afterward with inline text editing.
  • For structure rather than words, use Generate a section.

Rewriting needs AI generation on your plan and the Generate with AI permission — see who can use Aglyn AI. A site that has switched AI off shows none of these controls. Each rewrite spends AI credits like any other AI request.
